A dynamic testimony to the art of Swiss watchmaking: The sporty watch from Mercedes-AMG is not only a reliable timekeeping instrument, but rather a genuine design statement that meets the most exacting standards. The inside of the watch features the Swiss Ronda 6004 quartz movement with satellite seconds subdial, while the character of the timepiece is dominated in particular by the AMG design philosophy. The multi-piece case shape stands out with its overlays, taught surfaces and taper toward the base of the case to show something unexpectedly new from every angle. The high-performance design is also underscored by a high-sheen, black ceramic bezel with fine red outlines, while the material combination of titanium and stainless steel lends the case high-quality weight and an optimum fit. A glance through the protective sapphire glass draws the eye to the sporty clean dial with its 3D look. The dial is home to twelve hand-applied indices consisting of a material mixture of ceramic and Super-LumiNova® luminous material. The high appliques are charged with irradiated light, making the entire dial light up in the dark. This technology is known under the name of Globelight XP© and was patented in Switzerland. The subtly glossy AMG logo adds the perfect finishing touch to the dial. The watch's rubber strap also enhances wear comfort. Its folding clasp is designed so that the strap counterpart runs along the inside, eliminating the need for any strap loops.
