Homogeneous design that skilfully expresses dynamism, sporty character as well as comfort and elegance: In 1989, the 129 model series SL was one of the main attractions of the Geneva Motor Show that captivated with technical innovations. Be it a fold-out rollover protection bar, integral seats for increased protection in the event of a side-on collision, a wind deflector to effectively reduce wind noise and draft or the powerful 306 hp engine which was also characterised by low exhaust emissions: the SL 500 was a benchmark. Replicating the original in great detail, this hand-assembled precision model of the SL 500 adds to any collection. The model car is finished in an authentic paintwork colour and boasts an accurately detailed interior in every respect. - Doors, bonnet and tailgate of the model can be opened. The SL 500 model is supplied in Mercedes-Benz Classic packaging. It includes a screwdriver to easily remove the model as well as a glove to protect from fingerprints on the windows or paintwork.
